Highlands Ranch Mansion History, Information and Reviews
The Highlands Ranch Mansion is the namesake for one of the fastest growing cities in the country. Highlands Ranch, CO sits just south of the Denver metro area. The mansion was built in 1891 and has housed some of Denver’s most prominent socialites and families. The mansion went through a renovation in 2011 that cost over $6 million dollars. Yes it’s a very nice place! The Mansion sits on over 250 acres in the Highlands Ranch Historic Park and the house itself is over 27,000 square feet. The mansion is surrounded by the iconic Highlands Ranch windmill, barns, bunkhouse, ranch houses, corrals and pastures.
Today the Highlands Ranch Mansion is owned and operated by the Highlands Ranch Metro District. The Mansion can be rented out for weddings, holiday parties, receptions and business meetings. It is also open for public tours, cultural events, conferences and educational programs.
Open Tuesdays and Thursday from 9am to 2pm for tours. Also open one Monday evening a month from 3pm to 7pm. See the Mansion Calendar for details.
Photography is allowed for personal use in around the grounds of the mansion but not inside.
No eating, drinking or chewing gum while in the mansion.
No pets, other than service-animals or smoking allowed.
There is ample parking at the mansion with no charge.
Renting the Mansion:
The Highlands Ranch Mansion has numerous areas indoor and outdoors to host your event. You can have use of the living room, dining room, library, solarium, the great hall, groom’s room, and bride’s room. Outdoor areas include a front veranda, front lawn, and back lawn. Fees range from $2,000 to $5,100 for a 5 hour event. Fees depend on day of the week as well as season.
