White Christmas in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Christmas 2006 was indeed white. Mother Nature decided to dump quite a bit of snow onto Highlands Ranch this year. Now a week later the snow is still all over the place and snow “walls” and piles of snow on parking lots are a very common image in Highlands Ranch.

We woke up to great sunshine on this July 4, 2006. America would be celebrating its 230th birthday today and Highlands Ranch would celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first families moving in. The festivities were located in and around the new Highlands Ranch Town Center.

What a storm! About 90 minutes ago a very heavy storm blew through Highlands Ranch coming from the north. As of now 9news.com does not show any real information except for the warning alerts. From our observation we'd assume that winds stronger than 80 MPH blew through.
