The current State Government is making efforts to erode our privacy. They want to know what you are buying online so that they can tax you for it.

Govenor Ritter making things worse for Colorado
admin, January 26, 2010

Currently there are several bills making their way through the Colorado House and Senate – on behalf of Govenor Ritter. I am especially referring to HB1192 and HB1193. Businesses all across Colorado will be affected if these bills get signed into law. And while they might eventually provide a short-term increase in tax revenue for the state, the mid-term and long-term impact of these bills is significantly different.

Highlands Ranch is no exception and even though we are not seeing those huge drops in house prices compared to California, Nevada, or Arizona we still get our fair share of abuse.

It’s that time of the year again. Things are are finally slowing down and the year 2007 comes to an end with the Christmas Holiday as well as you can almost start counting the remaining days of the year on hand (almost there). I’d like to take the opportunity and to wish you very happy holidays no matter if you are celebrating a religious holiday or if you are just using this time of the year to bring the family together for some quality time.

Rain, Rain – Go away ...
admin, October 1, 2007

No, at the time of this writing it is not raining in Highlands Ranch. I am sitting in Seattle, Washington and it rains cats and dogs. It is actually raining non-stop since last night and yesterday it was raining most time of the day – with just a few interruptions. I don’t mind rain occasionally, but this constant rain – I cannot understand how people can live here.
