Voter Registration Deadline
The year 2008 is a very important year to vote. Not only will we have to vote for a new president, but overall the ballots this year are carrying tons of other issues to decide on. As a matter of fact – the ballots this year are the longest since 1912. Volunteers are canvassing neighborhoods and businesses to sign up new voters in the final weekend before Colorado’s deadline for voter registration. The deadline is Monday, Oct. 6. Voting is not an opportunity, it’s a privilege. If you want to have your voice heard, you should vote and not just stand out on the sidelines and complain.
Once registered you can vote early, vote by mail, or wait until election day to cast your vote. Please expect long lines on election day and rather use one of the early voting opportunities.
