Centennial Water provides Highlands Ranch residents with high quality water through a state-of-the-art water treatment plant located within Highlands Ranch. In addition wastewater is also treated at the Marcy Gulch Wastewater Treatment Plant to meet the high water quality standards before the water is discharged again.
Highlands Ranch residents receive their water from 2 water supply sources. 1) The South Platte River to the west, and 2) from a massive aquifer underlying the region. Centennial Water combines supplies from both sources to optimize the reliability, quality and cost-effectiveness of the water supply for Highlands Ranch.
