Review of "Lodo's Bar & Grill" Restaurant
Location: Lodo's Bar & Grill in Highlands Ranch is a member of the Lodo Restaurant Group. The restaurant is located near C-470 and Quebec (visible from the highway). The overall appearance is different from the typical restaurants in this area. The rooftop deck offers amazing views of the Lower Downtown skyscrapers, the majestic Rocky Mountains and beautiful Pikes Peak. The deck offers over 2,000 square foot of space. If you are looking for a great place to watch the sun go down - this is it.
Service: Service has been excellent. The place can be packed with people easily and the staff is very busy at those times. Food and drinks arrived in timely fashion when we were visiting the restaurant. No complaints here.
The Food: The quality of the food is above average. We had always fresh prepared meals when we were there. The burgers are awesome. We recommend "The Highlands Ranch" burger. The burger comes topped with avocado, fried onions, roasted red peppers, Jack cheese, lettuce and ranch dressing. In general - all hamburgers are made with 100% black angus beef and cooked to your personal preference. The appetizers are very good, too. The amount of food delivered can be overwhelming. Be careful in what you order. Rather talk to your waiter or waitress before ordering your entire meal.
Pricing: Prices are decent and normal for Highlands Ranch. A hamburger is offered for around $9.00. You get plenty of food in return. Appetizers start at $4.99 and top out at $9.99 (Peel 'N Eat Shrimp).
