June 2007 Events for Highlands Ranch
It’s summer time and the HRCA is turning up the heat with more events than ever. Summer in Highlands Ranch is fun. Lot’s of events and outdoor activities make this a great place to live. The Farmer’s Market is already in full swing every Sunday and with school being out (well, whatever you want to call it with the “different” school schedule we have here) it is time to get off the couch and go outdoors. Here is what we found to be available for June 2007 in regards to activities:
Are you ready to visit a circus? The Highlands Ranch Community Association has posted the following announcement on their website.
The Circus is Coming to Town!
When: June 1, 2, and 3
The Carson & Barnes Circus arrives tomorrow morning. Residents are encouraged to watch the elephants raise the Big Top at approximately 9:00 a.m. Come to Hepburn and Highlands Ranch Parkway to witness a circus tradition. To purchase discounted advanced tickets call 303-791-2500 or visit the HRCA web site for more information.
Well, it’s not just circus that will keep you entertained. Highlands Ranch will have its own carnival, too.
Highlands Ranch Carnival
HRCA is bringing Bill Hames Shows, one of the largest and most reputable traveling carnivals in North America. Plan now to come and enjoy all the thrills and excitement, games and attractions, fun and amusement, and food and beverages this hometown event will bring. Advance daily passes are $10/day or $15 at the carnival. Single ride tickets are available. Single Ride Tickets are $1.00 each or 24 tickets for $20.00. Rides take between 2 and 5 tickets. Advanced discount tickets are good for any day. Single-ride tickets for children are available at the carnival box office. Children must be 36” to ride the carnival rides with an adult and 42” to ride unaccompanied.

Monday June 11 - Friday, June 15, 4:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 16 & Sunday, June 17, 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Outdoor Pools are now open
Memorial Day Weekend was last weekend and that means that the outdoor pools are now ready for summer fun. You might have already noticed some activity at the pools. Bring the family, bring the fun and have a good time. Please watch for the little ones to make sure they have a safe experience at the pool.
