Highlands Ranch August 2007 Event Calendar
Do you believe it is already August? Well, were just a few days shy of the beginning of August. Time to check the event calendar and make plans to get out of the house for some good, clean summer fun. Here is a quick overview of what will be going on in Highlands Ranch.
Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association Arts Festival and Wine Tasting
Arts Festival
Saturday, August 11, 2007, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Town Center, 9288 Dorchester St., Highlands Ranch, CO 80129
Art is upon us. The annual HRCAA Arts Festival is being held on August 11 of 2007. The arts festival will feature many local artists as well as live music from local bands. There is going to be entertainment for the entire family. As an example children will find fun times with caricatures, face painting, and much more.
Highlands Ranch Summer Concert Series
Enjoy a nice outdoor concert in Highlands Ranch. Great music and great fun for the entire family. Concerts are scheduled to start at 6.30 PM and will last for approx. 90 minutes. Here are the dates for the month of August:

Where: Highlands Heritage Park, 9651 S. Quebec St., just located behind the United States post office at the intersection of University & Quebec.
Highlands Ranch Farmers Market
It’s still summer time and that means Sunday’s are Farmer Market Days in downtown Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch Town Center). Currently August 5, August 12, August 19, and August 26 are scheduled for Farmers Market activities.
Rodeo in the Ranch
Missed the Cheyenne Rodeo Days this year? No worries, Highlands Ranch will try to get some Rodeo action to you right here in town. Bull riding, Bronc Busters, and Children’s Mutton Busting are on the schedule.
Date: August 18th & 19th, 2007.
Location: Highlands Ranch Parkway & Hepburn Map
Grounds open at 1:30 pm. Rodeo begins at 4:00 pm.
Tickets: $10 Aduts/$5 Children (Ages 3-12)
Mutton Busting - ages 4-7 and 50 pound maximum. Preliminaries are limited to the first 50 kids.
Chicken Scramble - ages 3-6 & 7-11.
Of course there is much more going on in Highlands Ranch, Colorado during August 2007. Keep your eyes open and have a great summer.
