We’ve all heard the saying “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” But how can you prevent health problems? The first step is to know your numbers.
Through the month of April, The Little Clinic inside King Soopers at University & Highlands Ranch Parkway will be offering free health screenings. The full regimen of tests is known as “Heart Healthy” and includes:
- Cholesterol check (HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, and total cholesterol)
- Blood glucose level
- Body mass index
- Blood pressure
The Nurse Practitioner will discuss your results with you and assess your risk of heart disease and other illnesses. To make an appointment, please call The Little Clinic at 303-459-5639. Appointments are available 7 days a week.
