Labor Day Weekend is upon us. Summer is almost over. So, enjoy the last warm days with activity in and around Highlands Ranch. Here are the September highlights.
Highlands Ranch Days
The 2006 Highlands Ranch Days will start Thursday , September 7 and will end on Saturday, September 9, 2006. The historic Highlands Ranch Mansion will be filled with life and activities September 7-9. The activities include livestock displays, Native Americans, a fur trapper, gold panning, wool spinning, mansion tours, horse drawn hay rides, a petting zoo and much much more. On Saturday you'll have the option to buy a chuckwagon lunch, too.

Thursday and Friday the event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.! Saturday's events will start at 9:00 a.m. and are scheduled to end at 2:00 p.m.
Admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children (kids 3 and under are free).
Mother & Son Masquerade Ball
The Mother & Son Masquerade Ball is planned for the evening of September 15, 2006. We have not received much information about it at this point. Please contact the HRCA for details if you plan on attending. Phone: (303) 791-8958

Highlands Ranch October Fest
It is September and therefore time for a real October Fest. Bring your family and friends for great food, music, and, of course, great beer. Enjoy German beers from Erdinger and Veltins. Music will be available, too. Swing to polka music with authentic German folk dancers, and enjoy the music of Franz Meier’s German band, Die Weissblauen Enzianer. Food is offered from Helga's German Restaurant & Deli-Brats (german-style potato salad, sauerkraut, strudel, pretzels, turkey legs, and more).

Health Seminar
A health seminar and workshop about knee injuries is held at the Eastridge Recreation Center.
