Summer is in full swing. It has been hot, and we might be on track to beat a record of how many days 90+ degerees we'll have. Time to be outdoors. Here are the events for August.
Film in the Park
Still in full swing. Watch a movie at the park. Bring a blanket, bring a snack, and enjoy a good show outdoors at night.

2006 Highlands Ranch Run
The Highlands Ranch Run Series has runs scheduled for August 2006. The 2006 Run Series began in March and will end in September. There is a total of seven runs for seven different charities. 2 runs are scheduled for August. Here are the dates:
August 5, 2006 - Green Monster 4 Mile and Dash for Cash
August 12, 2006 - Splash-Mash-Dash

Highlands Ranch Farmers Market
The Farmers Market will be held on the following dates in August:

The Farmers Market opens between 10 AM and 2 PM at the Highlands Ranch Town Center.
The Highlands Ranch Rodeo
Bull riders, bareback riders, and bronc busters will compete in Highlands Ranch on August 19 and 20, 2006.
When: August 19th, and 20th, 2006.

Highlands Ranch Arts Festival
When: Saturday, August 26, 2006, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The Highlands Ranch Cultural Affairs Association’s Arts Festival offers something for everyone. See local artists selling their art. Watercolors, sculpture, jewelry, oils and more are showcased. In addition, you may enjoy hands-on art activities for kids, entertainment and food concessionaires.
Arts Festival Wine Tasting
Celebrate the end of summer by cooling off in the wine tasting tent at the Arts Festival! Enjoy refreshing wines and delicious appetizers from Whole Foods Market. The first 100 participants get to keep the commemorative glass. Held in conjunction with the Arts Festival.

Time: 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
