Do you need a Mortgage Broker or Real Estate Agent?

A few months ago my wife and I successfully sold our old house and bought a new one. We moved from the West side of Highlands Ranch towards the middle of Highlands Ranch. We were able to negotiate down the price of our new house and we got a good deal on our old house, too. Our old house was in the price range below $250,000 and that market had enough buyers so that we were able to attract an offer at the end of November and we closed the deal before Christmas.

I have to say, both transactions worked out great because we had a great real estate agent and a great mortgage broker. Both definitely knew what they were doing which was important. We did close on the new house at the beginning of December and we closed on the old house a day before Christmas Eve. So, we did require a second mortgage for roughly 3 weeks to cover the proceeds from the old house and our mortgage broker took really good care of us. Everything worked out very smooth.

Our real estate agent has many years of experience in buying and selling homes in and around Highlands Ranch. She has many connections and a great network of suppliers (e.g. home inspection, handymen, and contractors) and she is a tough negotiator (to our favor). With both – a good mortgage broker and our real estate agent – we had really had a good hand and so Christmas in our new house was a great day personally. No worries about financing or carrying 2 mortgages – it turned out pretty much perfect.

If you are interested in a good mortgage broker or a real estate agent, please contact me and I will send you the contact information. This is absolutely without any obligation for you and I am not trying to sell you anything. You should ask good questions when talking to them to get a good feel if you like them and trust them or if you rather go with someone else. Contact me at “admin @ abouthighlandsranch dot com”.
