Business Review: Chipotle Mexican Grill

If you are familiar with Highlands Ranch you might remember the Atlanta Bakery located in the King Soopers Strip Mall (Highlands Ranch Parkway / Wildcat Reserve Parkway). Atlanta Bakery ran out of the business due to the economy and the location was up for lease for quite a while. Recently a Chipotle Mexican Grill moved into part of the space while the other piece was rented out to a Sprint Wireless Store. Parking is available right in front of the store.

Chipotle is well-known for its Burritos and so the menu is not a surprise for the guest who has eaten at another Chipotle before. The interior is following other Chipotle restaurants – no surprises here. The staff is friendly and fast. We never had to wait in line when eating out. Service is quick and orders are filled fast.

The food has been great so far. In the very beginning when they opened you could tell that the employees were not very experienced making burritos, but this has changed. All the burritos we had lately were of excellent quality. The tortillas were folded properly and the burritos did not fall apart into pieces. Well done. The ingredients have always been fresh and were available. The kitchen is fast in refilling ingredients so that burritos can be made fast.

The prices are average for the area. We have not exactly compared them to other Chipotle restaurants, but the overall difference is either non-existing or insignificant.

We are happy to have Chipotle in our neighborhood.
