Search2007 Highlands Ranch Run Series
The Highlands Ranch Run Series is back for 2007 with seven certified runs for seven different local charities. The 2007 Run Series has started in March and will end in September. This year the Highlands Ranch Run Series added a 10K Adventure Run as a second Sprint Triathlon. Runners who like to participate have to compete only in five of these seven races to be eligible for a Hihglands Ranch Run Series Award. The Highlands Ranch Run Series offers, post race activities, a wide variety of physical challenges, unique terrain and best of all – significant contributions to charities. All races, except the Sprint Triathlons, are stroller and pet friendly – fun for the entire family.
This years beneficiaries include the Highlands Ranch Park and Recreation Foundation for Civic Green Park, the Mile High Pow Wow Association, The Highlands Ranch Scholarship Foundation, Special Olympics Colorado, El Centro Su Teatro, The Womens Crisis Center, and Girls on the Run.
Here is a list of the Highlands Ranch Run Series scheduled Runs:
March 17: St. Patrick's Day 5K Run/Walk
April 21: HRCA Heritage/Adventure 5k & 10k Run (Bolder Boulder qualifier)
May 5: HRCA Cinco de Mayo 5k (Bolder Boulder qualifier)
June 2: HRCA Tune Up Sprint Triathlon
July 4: HRCA Independence Day Sunset 10K
August 11: HRCA Splash Mash Dash Sprint Triathlon
September 15: HRCA Oktoberfest Run/Walk
All race participants will receive great running apparel. Each run will also feature great post race raffles, giveaways and prizes!
Registration is available immediately.
Series Entry Fee for 2 Sprint Triathlons: $110.00.
Entry Fees for 17 and Under:$5.00 off registration fee for individual races.
Individual Races: $25 - $60(non-refundable)
Run Day Entry: $35 - $45(non-refundable)
Pre-registration closes at noon the day before each race. Please note there is no Race Day sign up for the 2 Sprint Triathlons. Please go to www.active.com to register for the Highlands Ranch Run Series.
